OUR RETREAT HOME
The home is Casa Realidad y Ensueno, a dream-like place surrounded by mountains and ancient boulders. Breathtaking views from every corner of the Casa. This beautiful and super comfortable property offers many spaces for introspection and contemplation. Ceremonies and gatherings are held in the courtyard under the stars and surrounded by native plants and flowers, with the blessing of our ancestors, the Andes mountains, the sacred fire, and guarded by the spirits that inhabit the land. Expect profound healing just being in this space and energy.
The town of Villa de Leyva is at the center of one of the four most advanced ancient civilizations of the Americas, the Muiscas. Their teachings, practices and medicines are part of the culture in this region. And they are always available to us. So we honor them though ritual and receive them with an open mind and heart during our time in the land.

On Origen Travel Journeys, our breath work prior to immersing ourselves in the nourishing waters of the Colombian waterfalls pushes us to tap deep into our ancestral roots. Ancient cultures understood the healing powers of water and taught us that water holds memory from the influence of light, sound, and human intention. The water we drink and bathe in during retreats is very special because it originates from the river birthing of the sacred mountains of Iguaque. The place of origin of humanity, according to the Muiscas.
